Signs Your Copperfield Damper Repair Is Failing

• The handle turns but the plate doesn’t move. The worm gear in a 3000 Series rotary mechanism strips out after roughly 15-20 years of creosote grit working into the threads. We find this constantly in Worcester’s older housing stock where the chimney hasn’t been swept on schedule.
